A penny for your thoughts

Garapan Elementary School students, teachers, staff, parents, and members of the community have outdone themselves again.

This year, the GES Mallard community has exceeded their limits of generosity and collected over 90,000 pennies to contribute to the Division of Youth Services’ Penny Drive.

The GES donated over 70,000 pennies last year.

The GES reminds the community that child abuse and neglect must never be tolerated, and that “the responsibility to protect our children belongs to all of us—young and old.”

Kudos goes out to the students who selflessly gave their time and resources to help other children who are in need of basic human necessities.
