SGA September Ace this Sunday

The Saipan Golfers Association will hold its September Ace of the Month Tournament this coming Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Kingfisher Golf Links in Talafofo.

Tee off time is set at 8:06am but all participants are requested to show up as early as 7:30am for the pairings. “This is to arrange the pairings and have coffee, orange, or tea prior to tee-off,” said the SGA in a media release.

In addition, SGA also announced its Ace winners for the past four months. Taking the plum in May was veteran par-buster Jung Eun Teack, while bagging the June championship was former Supreme Court Associate Justice Judge Edward Manibusan. Ben Aldan of Ace Hardware San Vicente captured the July Ace and Ray San Ncicolas triumphed in last month’s tournament.

SGA said only four Ace of the Month Tournaments are left for the year. All members are urged to participate in the remaining tournaments to give them a chance to vie for the yearend SGA Ace of Aces Championship set for December. (Mark Rabago)
