Car Show Import Night postponed
The 6th Annual Car Show Import Night that was scheduled for today at the Price Costco parking area from 6-11pm has been postponed to Oct. 2.
However, Power 99 and The Rock are still accepting applications for the non-competition category.
“We have stopped accepting applications for competition. We can only take in [applicants] that want to display their car under the non-competition category,” said Power 99 staff Leonard Morales.
The competition category focuses on the hottest female ride, hottest extreme imports, best two-door and four-door ride, and best in show. Vehicles are judged according to creativity, body modification, interior and exterior creativity, and engine.
The event will feature a bikini show and live entertainment provided by Sam Joyner and his crew performing on stage. The “Hot Spam” eating contest will also take place, with gift prizes.
Also included in the show is the sound off competition category hosted by 3A’s Polyshine. The company will be accepting applications for the sound-off competition until Oct. 1. For interested participants in this category, call 235-8938.
The Import Night is sponsored by Verizon, SaipanCell, Shell Marianas, 3A’s Polyshine, Triple J, Joeten Motors, Papaya, Marianas Visitors Authority, Carnots Airconditioning, D & Q Saipan, Black Tiger Securtiy System, Price Costco, Dengshi Auto Clinic, and Toninos. (Cassie DLG Fejeran)
