You go, girl!

It’s interesting that Gov. Juan N. Babauta is threatening to abolish MPLA. While reading the local paper, it seemed very apparent in the eyes of our people that Babauta’s threat is merely because of the termination of former Commission Hofschneider, whose spouse is the governor’s first cousin. What is the educational caliber of this Hofschneider to be paid $80,000? I challenge Governor Babauta in his quest to abolish MPLA.

Ms. Castro, I commend you for continually withstanding the pressure at MPLA, because to tell you the truth, I would have resigned by now. I don’t think it’s worth it. Especially when you are dealing with board members that cannot stick to their decision: “yes today and no tomorrow.” Do your board members know what fiduciary responsibility is? Do they realize that while they are playing this yes and no game, they are causing greater hardship to our people of the Commonwealth who have long awaited their land compensation and their homesteads? They are worthless and do not deserve the honor as board members.

A female perspective,
