Calling all ToC winners
If you were one of the lucky golfers who were able to out strike, chip, and putt the competition in the 2004 Tournament of Champions, the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association (GHRA)is inviting you to compete in the Guam Governor’s Tourism Cup Championship on Guam next month.
On Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12, duffers from all over the region will head down to the Starts (Alte) Guam Golf Resort for a weekend of top quality competition. Tee times for either the morning or afternoon will be assigned when the players arrive.
While winners in the 2004 Tournament of Champions have a free slot in the Guam Governor’s Tourism Cup tournament, the players are responsible for their own expenses.
Participants going to Guam should note that there are differences in the flight/handicap ratings between the two tournaments, and a possibility remains that a player from the Tournament of Champions in a specific flight might find themselves accepted into the Guam tournament at a higher flight. This might apply to those players having near “Cut Line” handicaps.
Unfortunately, due to the differences in flights between the two tournaments Guam cannot accept the winners of the TOC Super Seniors flight. This flight does not exist in the Guam tournament.
Entry forms and contact information are available at the DFS Security Office in Garapan for any interested players.
