As the ides of March approach, so too does the time that the schools of the CNMI close their doors in lieu of education to grant the children a pre-summer vacation. While the absence from the classroom may not be a cause for concern for the kids, some parents might not have an adequate plan to ensure the proper care of their young ones.

Enter the Spring Break at Camp Hyatt. This year for Spring Break, Camp at the Hyatt is offering parents a solution by offering two weeks to accommodate the vacation schedules of the Saipan’s schools.

Beginning on Monday, March 21, through Friday, March 25, parents will be able to drop off their children at the Hyatt Regency Saipan at 9am and pick them up later that day at 3pm.

The following week, parents can do the same beginning on Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1, at the same times. The program even allows for differing schedules, as extended care is available until 5pm for an extra charge of $5 per hour.

The cost for Spring Break at the Hyatt is $100 for either of the weeks, or $180 for both.

The cost includes a number of activities and field trips as well as lunch.

The campers will be able to choose from a lunch menu that includes chicken nuggets, a hamburger, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, a hot dog, or spaghetti. With the exception of the spaghetti lunch, all of the meals come with French fries.

“We are getting ready for another successful program for local parents and children, as well as looking at a lot of different options for guest speakers and field trips,” said Camp Hyatt supervisor Megan Kenny.

For more information, or to pre-register you child, contact Kenny by calling the Hyatt Regency Saipan at 234-1234 ext. 25.
