One of the CNMI newest voices in the recording industry is set to woo and wow the crowd assembled in tonight’s Garapan Street Market.

Fresh from her guest appearance on Saturday’s “CNMI Little Big Star” extravaganza, Amber Mendiola will take center stage at 7:45pm to share selections from her hot-off-the-press, self-entitled CD “Amber.”

The album, a dream come true for Mendiola made possible by the Make-a-Wish Foundation, will also be on sale on-site.

The crowd favorite man’amko (senior citizens) of the Office on Aging will be the opening act beginning at 7pm.

The Garapan Street Market is held every Thursday from 6pm to 10pm at American Memorial Park and offers a wide selection of food, imported and local crafts, novelties, and free live entertainment.

Vendor payments and applications are now being accepted at the Commonwealth Council for Arts & Culture, Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, on Capitol Hill. For more information call the Council at 670-322-9982/3. (PR)
