Verizon’s ‘After Hours Sale’ this Friday night
Back by popular demand, Verizon’s After Hours Sale will be going on this Friday night at the Verizon parking lot on Middle Road. This huge event is scheduled from 6pm to 9pm offering great prepaid cellular deals that you have been waiting for.
Trade in your old phone along with the wall charger and you can choose from either the Nokia 2285, the Kyocera 2235, or the Modotell WCE-100 for only $49.99. Your trade-in phone does not have to be in working condition for you to avail of these great deals. A free $10 calling card, a car charger, and a leather case will be included with your purchase while supplies last.
The brand new Nokia 2285 is one of the highlights during the event. This phone was sold out quickly last weekend at the Verizon Star Cruizer at Roshi’s. If you were one of those customers who did not make it in time to get one of the hottest phones out on the market, then this is your second chance to get the phone at the best deal. Due to the demand of the Nokia 2285 and the limited amount of stock that Verizon has with this phone, interested buyers are encouraged to come early to the event.
The Nokia 2285 is a dual-band CDMA phone. It has high-speed data, voice dialing, voice memo, and wireless Internet browser. It also has EMS/Picture Messaging capabilities, has three games, and provides 10 different ringtones.
“We are excited to be offering great deals to our customers, especially the Nokia 2285 since it is brand new phone,” said Verizon marketing manager Russ Quinn. He said this phone is great for text messaging, has clear reception, and has good battery life.
“We expect this phone to be completely sold out this weekend so anyone who is interested in getting one should come down to this Friday’s event,” he added.
The Kyocera 2235 is another phone that will on special at the After Hours Sale. It is a CDMA phone that offers voice dialing, custom ringtones, and 3G speed data. It also allows five lines of text and uses a blue backlight as one of its distinctive features.
The ever-popular Modoell WCE-100 is another phone that you can get this weekend. It is a fashionably small and lightweight phone that can easily fit in any pocket. It has wide graphic LCD, a phone book up to 200 entries, and can store as many as 80 events or memos.
“I would like to invite everyone to come on down this Friday night and check out what’s brewing at the Verizon parking lot,” said Quinn. He also mentioned that fresh coffee will be served along with some pastries for the whole family.
For customers who are not able to make it to the big event this Friday night, then the Verizon Star Cruizer will also be offering some great deals on Saturday and Sunday at the XO Market in Gualo Rai from 10am to 2pm.
