Demapan is RGA March Ace of the month

Joe Demapan had a March like no other, as he won three golf tournaments during the month.
Aside from topping the A Flight of both the Mt. Carmel and HANMI events, he also took home the Refaluwasch Ace of the Month Tournament championship.
Demapan shot identical gross scores of 77 in both tournaments and since RGA used both the Mt. Carmel and HANMI events as the basis for its monthly championship, his net score of 66 was the best among the field.
RGA president Jess Wabol congratulated Demapan for the hat trick. Also getting accolades are Nick Sablan, who won the Championship Flight of the Mt. Carmel event after firing an even 72, and Sasaki Oliver, who finished third in the same division with his four-over 76. Wabol himself garnered second place in the Championship Flight after carding a two-over 74.
Next up for RGA is the April Ace of the Month Tournament set for this Saturday, April 16, at the Lao Lao Bay Resort east course. Tournament fee is $30 and slots for 16 players are available. Check-in time is set at 11:30am with tee time set 40 minutes later at 12:10pm.
Wabol said that the club is still entertaining the application of new members. Membership fee is $50, which is the same cost for renewals.
The membership fee covers the period from January to December. The RGA president is also reminding current RGA members to take care of their membership dues as early as possible.
