With little more than a week remaining before the Rota Little League District Tournament, organizers will have to act fast to give the boys as much time as possible to prepare for the six-day affair that runs from Thursday, June 9, through Tuesday, June 14. If they plan to advance any further into the World Series chain of tournaments, they first have to face the All-Stars from the neighboring islands of Tinian and Rota.
The winner of this year’s district tournament will earn the right to represent the CNMI in the Asia-Pacific Regional Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, from Saturday, July 23 through Saturday, July 30, against teams from Guam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, and Korea.
