Live-fire training at FDM

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, is informing the public that the U.S. military would be conducting live-fire exercise at the Farallon De Mendenilla Island. The schedule dates and time are as follow:

June 27, from 11am to 11pm Live-fire training
• June 28, from 11am to 11pm Live-fire training
• June 29, from 11am to 11pm Live-fire training
• June 30, from 11am to 11pm Live-fire training

The location of these activity will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Area from 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

Due to the danger inherent in these activities, EMO is advising the public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and tour operators, to stay away from this site during the time and dates indicated.
