Restaurant, 3 vendors closed down

A restaurant and three roadside illegal vendors have been ordered closed due to serious violations of health and sanitation standards and the rules and regulation.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Bureau of Environmental Health said that it ordered closed the Mishima Restaurant in Garapan on July 1, 2005. The illegal roadside vendors that were also closed down had license plate number ABA 156 (ordered closed on Jan. 3, 2005), ABV 334 (closed on May 13, 2005), and ACY 751 (closed on June 28, 2005.
The bureau conducted sanitary inspections during the week of June 5 to July 2, 2005 on the following retails, eating and drinking establishments and the grades are as follow:
GRADE “A”

4. Mary’s Restaurant & Catering, Chalan Piao
5. Meena’s Retail & Wholesale, Chalan Kanoa

8. Shell San Roque Retail, San Roque
9. EZ Café & Bar, Garapan
10. Herman’s Modern Bakery & Wholesale, Airport Road
11 World Resort Restaurant, Susupe
12. World Resort Gift Shop, Susupe
13. Marianas Gift Supply, Garapan
14. M.V. Reyes Catering Snack Bar, NMC-As Terlaje
15. Thai Kai Retail, Chalan Kanoa
16. Ada’s Farm Roadside Vendor, Chalan Kanoa
17. Guma Natibu Snack Bar, Airport
18. Nikko Hotel DFS Gift Shop, San Roque
19. DFS Gift Shop, Garapan
