Renovation work at San Antonio Wellness Center

The Southern Community Wellness Center in San Antonio Village will be undergoing renovation from July 18, 2005 to Nov. 1, 2005.
The Department of Public Health’s Division of Public Health said the renovation will help promote a user-friendly environment and ensure patient confidentiality in providing preventive and primary health care services to the community.
“Toward that end, this will allow the wellness center to accommodate more patients,” said the division in a statement.
To ensure the safety of patients, the division will temporarily relocate services to the Saipan Health Clinic located inside the Afetnas Building.
“As a reminder to parents, school will be opening soon. Therefore, we are encouraging parents to schedule their children’s physical examination that is required for school entry as soon as possible or at the private clinics of their choice to avoid any delay in the processing of the school health certificate,” the division said.
Parents may call the Immunization Program at 236-8734 to inquire on the immunization status of their children.
