Do away with fuel surcharge

Please allow me to express my feeling about the law on the fuel surcharge. In the first place, why did it become law, when the people of the CMNI are suffering? I am appealing for the removal of the fuel surcharge because I believe in my heart that it was not us who put CUC into this problems. I believe that we and those under federal assistance did pay our fair share on what it shows in the billing. How could we pay for the fuel surcharge when we are not employed? So for those who wish to sign a petition about the fuel surcharge, please feel free to go out on your own village and have them sign. You can create your own, and remember that it’s election year, so please I ask you people of the CNMI to exercise your rights.
