Council cites Teen Talk adviser
The 8th Saipan And Northern Islands Municipal Council has adopted a resolution commending Hopwood Junior High School teacher Sharleen Benavente Crisostimo for her exemplary leadership and contribution to the Teen Talk Program in the CNMI.
Crisostimo is the adviser of the Teen Talk Program.
Crisostimo was born on Dec. 5, 1977, and is the daughter of proud parents Roman Palacios Crisostimo and Carmen Sablan Benavente Crisostimo of San Roque, Saipan.
Crisostimo attended Mount Carmel on Saipan, 1st-8th grade, and Mekinely High School in 1995, Saipan. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Charminade University, Honolulu, Hawaii, 1999.
Crisostimo participated at the Fast 1 and Fast 2 training at University of Hawaii, Manoa, in June 2003 and June-July 2004.
“The members of the Municipal Council, the people of the CNMI and the Public School System join the proud parents and family members in extending a special recognition, congratulation and commendation to…Crisostimo for providing excellent leadership, contributions and services to the Teen Talk Program,” part of the resolution reads.
The resolution was certified by municipal council chair Gregorio V. Deleon Guerrero and vice chair David A. Indalecio and attested by secretary Antonia M. Tudela.
