The Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE) announces that it will hold the 12th Annual Pistahan Parade and Festival at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, California from Aug. 13 to 14. Its objective is to showcase the richness of Filipino arts and culture.

Since its inception in 1994, the two-day event has drawn thousands of people not only from within San Francisco and the Bay Area, but also people from across the United States. The parade and festival draws a crowd of 30,000 to 50,000 each year.

The festivities will showcase art exhibits, a film fest, food and trade exhibits, Filipino delicacies and other food products and a cultural show capped by a colorful parade. It will also feature the best of Filipino artistic talents from the Philippines and the U.S.

All are invited to join and attend this celebration of community life and culture at the Pistahan Parade and Festival. For more information, interested parties may visit the FAAE/Pistahan website at www.pistahan.net. (PR)
