There will be a water outage today, Aug. 13, at the Garapan area, between the hours of 5:45am to 7am.

In a statement from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., it said the water outage is necessary so that the waterline may be pressurized along Garapan Street (northern area) and Orchid Street (southern area) to allow the Water Task Force contractor to conduct leak detection measures. During that time consumers within that area may experience higher than normal water pressure.

Those affected by the outage are CUC customers who live or work along Micro Beach Road (NMHC Office) continuing to north of Orchid Street (Lower MIHA Housing) and Chalan Pale Arnold Road (Middle Road) to Coral Tree Avenue (hotel area).

The water will be off from 5:45am to 7am or just as soon as crews are finished with the maintenance.

The community’s patience, cooperation and understanding is solicited as the corporation continues to strive to improve the water system within the Garapan area. (PR)
