RGA September Ace tourney tomorrow

The Refaluwasch Golf Association announced yesterday that it will hold its September Ace of the Month Tournament tomorrow, Sept. 3, at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort.

This according to RGA president Jess Wabol, who confirmed during a phone interview that the tournament will be limited to 16 players who must be at the venue by 11am for check in with $30 on hand to shoulder the entrance fee.

Wabol said those who will vie for the September plum will tee off at 12pm.

Meanwhile, Ben Duenas was in a zone of his own and set the standard for the association’s ninth Ace of the Month tourney of the year by carding a net score of nine-under 66 in the qualifying round at the Kingfisher Golf Links last Aug. 20.
