CHC’S PT DEPARTMENT NOW FULLY STAFFED
As of Sept. 12, the Physical Therapy Department at the Commonwealth Health Center is now fully staffed. The physical therapists are continuing their focus on wounds. Besides dressings, whirlpool and debridement, they provide education to patients and also assist them in contacting appropriate support agencies such as the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.

A big thank you is being extended to all who supported Kagman High School’s Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps fundraising luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 17.

AERIAL MANEUVERS AT FDM
The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S Naval Forces Marianas, would like to inform the public that the U.S. military will be conducting aerial maneuvers and aerial survey exercises on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla. The schedule dates and time are as follow:
Sept. 26 – 28, 2005, from 5pm to 11pm Aerial Survey
Sept. 29 – 30, 2005, from 5am to 11pm Aerial Survey
The general location of this activity will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Area, from 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.
Due to the danger imposed by this activity, EMO is advising the general public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators—to take precautionary measures around this area during the time and dates indicated.
The cooperation and understanding of the general public is greatly appreciated.

PRESENTATIONS ON CAMPAIGN FINANCE AND REPORTING SET ON TINIAN, ROTA
The Office of the Public Auditor will be conducting presentations on campaign finance and reporting on Rota on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, 5pm-7pm at Sunset Villa- Rota

SSHS MEETING ON SEPT. 29
The Saipan Southern High School would be holding a Parent-Teachers Association meeting next Thursday, Sept. 29, 6:30pm at the school’s cafeteria. Parents and legal guardians of students currently enrolled at SSHS are requested to attend the PTA meeting.

• As a result of school days missed due to Typhoon Nabi, make-up days are as follows: Nov. 1, Dec. 22 and 23 (There will be classes on these days).
• Open House/Report Card Distribution will be on Wednesday, Oct. 19 (4-6pm).
• Community Council Meeting (also known as PTA) will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 6pm, in the school cafeteria.
