Little League elections tomorrow

The Saipan Little League Baseball Association would hold its election of officers tomorrow, Oct. 8, 8:30am at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.

Up for election are the positions of president, vice president, secretary, managers’ representative, safety officer, umpires’ consultant, chief statistician, and player agent.

The SLLBA board reiterates that the election is open to everyone in the community—whether they were or were not part of the Little League last season or any other seasons in the past.

The SLLBA also took time to thank corporate sponsors for the 2005 season, especially McDonald’s and the local franchise owner, Joe Ayuyu.

SLLBA officers also would like to extend their appreciation to Rep. Oscar Babauta who provided tables and chairs during last Saturday’s awards ceremony. The organization also thanked the Division of Sports and Recreation and the Department of Public Safety’s Fire Division for the assistance they extended this past season. (PR)
