SLLBA: Calling all coaches and managers

The new president of the Saipan Little League Baseball Association is calling for all coaches and managers who are interested in participating in the Major, Junior, Senior, or Big Leagues to attend tomorrow morning’s 9am meeting in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium in Oleai

According to Mike Borja, the SLLBA will discuss a number of issues will all of the prospective participants that will be necessary for the 2006 season. One of the topics will be the relocation of the Major League games from Tan Ge Softball Field at the Oleai Sports Complex to the newly named Anthony T. Benavente Baseball Field on Capitol Hill.

There will also be explanations about some of the rules changes, requirements for volunteers in supervisory positions, as well as the importance of submitting rosters and waivers in a timely manner.
