Accountants Fun Day a blast

More than 60 of Saipan’s numbers crunchers took part in the Marianas Institute of CPAs and Accountants’ Accountants Fun Day held last Sunday at the Construction Material Supply Basketball Court in Gualo Rai.
Four teams vied for the overall championship in events like tennis, basketball, volleyball and parlor games with Team Yellow taking home the title. The three others teams were Team Blue, Team Gold, and Team Gray.
In the special raffle held after the whole-day event, former Mificpa president and CMS general manager Melvin Malvar and Pacifica Insurance’s Butch Ordas won roundtrip tickets to Manila courtesy of Continental Micronesia.
Continental’s donation is part of the carrier’s “Irekomenda sa Kaibigan” promotion, which aims to entice Filipinos to book their trips to Continental from October 2005 to January 2006.
Mificpa is enrolled as a member of the “Irekomenda sa Kaibigan” recognized groups of Continental and because of this each booking of any Mificpa member will mean one raffle ticket for Mificpa.
The organization for accountants extended its appreciation to Continental for the donation as well as members and friends that attended the event and is looking forward to host another Accountants Fun Day in the future. (PR)
