The Military Veterans Affairs Office would honor soldiers who served and are currently serving the U.S. Armed Forces this Friday, Nov. 11, on the occasion of Veteran Day.

“We will remember those who served our great nation so that we may enjoy the fruits of freedom of a democratic society. We ask that all veterans, active and reserve military members, their families and family members of those departed veterans, the local Marine Scouts, and the public to come and join us in the celebration of Veterans Day,” the MVAO said.

Gov. Juan N. Babauta signed the Veterans Week Proclamation at the Governor’s conference room last Thursday, Nov. 3.

MVAO would also like to remind all those concerned and interested that the Veterans Day Committee meets every Tuesday starting 9am at the Office of the Governor, Capitol Hill, Bldg 1364. For more information on MVAO and the upcoming Veterans Day, call 664-2650/51. (PR)
