Manta Ray Battalion receives Honor Unit with Distinction Award

Saipan Southern High School JROTC Manta Ray Battalion was inspected by the Thirteenth Brigade Headquarters led by Major Pratt and Sergeant First Class Baroldy last Nov. 29.

With total accumulative scores finally out, the Manta Ray Battalion gained enough points to receive the Honor Unit with Distinction Award.

“Congratulations to the hardworking cadets, instructors and staff of Saipan Southern High School for a job well done on accomplishing one of their biggest missions,” the school said.

The JROTC Manta Ray Battalion would like to thank the MSU for their support towards the program and also to SSHS registrar Carol Hosono and the South Side Refaluwasch boys for their outstanding help and performance. “Once again, congratulations to the Manta Ray Battalion!” the school added. (PR)
