Star Wars at GIG

Saipan’s singing stars and karaoke enthusiasts will be stretching their vocal chords for supremacy this coming Jan. 14, Saturday, at GIG Discotheque when the singing competition billed “Star Wars” kicks off at 10pm.

Contestants are required to bring their own Minus One in audio CD format to avoid delay in cueing. VCD or DVD materials should be submitted this coming Friday for conversion to CD format.

Criteria for judging are: Stage Presence & Expression (20 percent), Tempo and Rhythm (25 percent), Intonation and Vocal harmony (25 percent), Voice Quality (20 percent) and Audience Impact (10 percent).

Up for grabs are cash prizes and gift certificates.
