CUC sets power outage today

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. announced that a scheduled power outage will be in effect today, Jan. 28, on Kiya 1 from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The purpose of the outage is to relocate three power poles at the Airport Road intersection.

The areas affected from 8:30am to 9:20am are residents and establishments south of the Botanical Garden in Papago along San Vicente Road, Tuturam, Upper and Lower Dandan, Obyan Water Wells, Isley Water Wells, Commonwealth Ports Authority, Katmelo Country, As Gonno, Coral Ocean Point, Koblerville Subdivision, and customers along As Perdido Road.

Customers south of Tun Herman Pan Road and Airport Road will also be affected from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The As Perdido traffic light will be affected by the power outage.

“Please note that water and wastewater services within the above listed areas will also be affected due to the power outage,” said CUC. (PR)
