PTI Jam Shooters continued to pace the CNMI Billiard League 2006 Spring Season after beating Pool Junkies Wednesday night at Shooters Sports Bar in Garapan.

Los Cabos, which lost first place two weeks ago, continued to rebound and halved Navy Hill Boys, 8-4, to remain in striking distance of Jam Shooters with 71.5 points. Navy Hill is in sixth place with 59.5 points.

Climbing steadily up the standings is Hyatt Pomec as its 10-9 win over Destroyers puts it a mere half point behind Los Cabos with 71 points. Its victim, meanwhile, is in fourth place with 68 points.

Cellar dwellers and sister teams Ballers and Ballers II, meanwhile, duked it out at Corner Pocket the same night with Ballers II getting the better of Ballers, 8.5-5.

The win gave Ballers II a little more breathing room between it and last place Ballers I, 58.5 to 52.
