A man pleaded guilty to ice-dealing and was was sentenced to more than two years in federal prison.

District Court Judge Alex Munson sentenced Yukio Yatsuhashi, 48, of Yokohama City, Japan to 26 months in prison and ordered him to join a drug-rehabilitation program while serving his term.

He was ordered deported after release and, if the proceeding failed, be placed on a supervised release for four years in which he will be required to perform 200 hours of community work.

He is not to commit any crime nor possess firearm or controlled substance.

Assistant U.S. Attorney David T. Wood recommended a prison term of 26 months, which defense lawyer Gregory Koebel said was appropriate.

Yatsuhashi entered a plea agreement.

A conviction would have meant 40 years in prison and a possible $2 million fine.
