Bowling tournament
Organizers of the 17th Annual SBC May Masters are inviting bowlers from Saipan and Guam to join an invitational bowling tournament scheduled for May 28 to 30, 1999 at the Saipan Bowling Center.
First place winner of the Men’s Master championship is guaranteed to receive $1,500 plus other prices.

MATTA meeting
The Marianas Amateur Table Tennis Association is calling all its members for a general meeting on May 25, 1999, 7:30 p.m. at the Gilbert Ada Gymnasium conference room.
Part of the agenda is the election of officers and scheduling of the MATTA Island Open Tournament.

RGA May golf tour
The Refaluwasch Golf Association will hold its May Ace tournament on Saturday, May 22, 1999 at the Mariana Country Club. Registration is at 6:50 a.m. and is open to the first 20 players on a first come basis.
Members are reminded that portion of the $30 tournament fee will go to the Man Amko in support of Mes Man Amko.
To become the May Ace, a player must beat the 71 shot by Tony Satur on May 9, 1999 at the Coral Ocean Point. Also in that qualifying round, Jess Wabol claimed both the closest to the pin prizes.
Members are also reminded that this is the 1st round of play before the new handicap adjustments are effectuated in June.
Saipan Swim Club
The Saipan Swim Club will conduct its annual session of swim lessons for children and adults beginning June 17 thru June 30, 1999. Lessons will be held on weekdays only from 7:30 to 8:30 am at the Kan Pacific Swimming Pool.
Participants completing the session will receive American Red Cross certificates. There are seven levels of swimming from beginner to advance, and all will be available to participants.
Swimmers must complete five levels to be eligible to compete for the Saipan Swim Club.
Starting age for lessons is six years old or in school. There will also be adult classes offered during the same period.
The cost is $35.00 per student for the two-week session.
