San Antonio school
PTA meeting
The San Antonio Elementary School will hold its first PTA meeting for school year 1999-2000 on Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the school cafeteria.
The agenda will include the following: introduction of teachers and staff; report on the opening of school; scheduled for distribution of mid-quarter progress reports; observance of Cultural Heritage Month; the school nutrition program; and the announcement of a special conference beingsponsored by the community for parents and educators.
Health Inspection
The Bureau of Environmental Health conducted health and sanitation inspection during the week of Aug. 8 to Aug. 14 on the following eating and drinking establishments and graded them as follows:
Grade A
Pution Saipan Bar, Delta Dock, Puerto Rico; Saipan Sea Venture Food Catering, Delta Dock, Puerto Rico; and Uno Moda Garment Employees Cafeteria, San Antonio
Grade B
Bolis Catering, Chalan Kanoa; Hafa Adai Bakery, Garapan; Mirage Garment Employees Cafeteria, Gualo Rai; and Chung Hua Restaurant, Chalan Kanoa
Grade C
Tom’s Tofu Manufacture, Garapan
Closed due to violations
Han Kook Ban Jeam Restaurant, Chalan Kanoa; and Lya Restaurant, Garapan.
