9th Annual Tinian Fun Run

The Marianas Visitors Authority, along with the Tinian Mayor’s Office, will be holding the 9th Annual Tinian Fun Run on Sept. 28, 1999.

Organizers are expecting over 60 runners from Guam, Saipan, Tinian and Rota to participate in the yearly event.

Prizes will be given to the 1st to 3rd place overall winners in the male and female categories and first place male and female finishers in the following age categories:

•18 years and below;

•19-30 years;

•31-40 years; and

•41 years and up.

The entry fee for the Fun Run is only $20.00 per runner. Registration deadline is on Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, 12:00 p.m. at MVA Saipan and Tinian office. Late registrants will be charged an additional $5.00.

Fee includes a free T-shirt and a ticket to the awards banquet. There will be an additional fee for those who will bring in guests to the awards banquet.
