The Northern Marianas College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in association with the Pacific Islands Small Business Development Center Network and U.S. Small Business Administration, is moving its free-to-the-public ‘Thinking About Starting Your Own Business” workshop to the evening.

The workshop will be on Thursday evening, Dec. 16th at the Center’s Conference Room (Building T). Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and light refreshments will also be available. The workshop begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. and will conclude by 9:00 p.m.

The purpose of the workshop is to present to entrepreneurs what services the SBDC provides, the importance of business planning, and promoting Y2K awareness.

According to staff business consultant, Dirk Sharer, “We are moving this program to the evening so those who work during the day can attend. Participants are also encouraged to ask questions throughout the evening as it’ll be a real working session.”

Seating is limited to 10 attendees so please call the Small Business Development Center at 235-1551 for reservation.
