GTE Pacifica 85, Get Covered 71
GTE Pacifica defeated Get Covered in the first game Wednesday might at the Ada Gym. Mark Wallace once again came up big with 40 points, one block shot, 11 rebounds, three steals, and sank 6 three-pointers. Doc Brostrom contributed 16 points, two assists, five blocks, eight rebounds, and three steals.
John Acosta had 22 points, three assists, one block shot, three rebounds, two steals. Tim Wesley poured in 14 points, one assist, two block shots, five rebounds, one steal for Get Covered in a losing cause.
Lite Beer 104, Saipan Stars 95
Abond Camacho pumped in 22 points, one block shot, 14 rebounds, and a steal to lead Lite Beer by defeating the Stars. Banjo Basila helped out Abong with 15 points, one assist, five rebounds, and three steals.
Ronald Delos Reyes poured in 31 points, one assist, one block shot, eight rebounds. Jorge De Guzman had 14 points and six rebounds for the Stars in a losing cause.
The main attraction of the game was Saipan Stars’ Mike Doodge who was doing all his fancy moves but came up short to get the W for his team.
