The Education International (EI) announces the launching of stamps to commemorate the World Teachers’ Day.

The initiative, supported by UNESCO and the World Bank, started last year, and at least five countries have announced the issuance of ‘stamps of recognition’ such as St. Vincent & Grenadines, Dominican Republic, Mongolia and Montserrat.

According to EI, more nations are expected to launch their own stamps to honor teachers for their work in education and development.
