The Kautz Glass Glazers defeated the Starz 20-5 in the inaugural Junior League game. The Junior League is for youngsters ages 13-14. The Senior League is now for 15-16 year old while the Big League accommodates ages 17-18.

The game was shortened to five innings due to the “mercy” rule as the Glazers scored in every inning.

Jessie Agulto was the winning pitcher, striking out four and allowing no earned runs and just two hits over four and two-thirds innings.

The Starz rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth before Patrick Blas relieved Agulto to get the final out.

Bobby Coldeen sparked the offensive attack by going three for three with four runs batted in. John Tudela went three for three, scoring four times. Blas also crossed the plate four times. Agulto helped his cause with three RBIs, while AJ Taitano had three hits and three runs.
