Economic Substitutes, Anybody?
It isn’t surprising that we have apparently missed the boat completely in the last six years though we were all standing at the train station.
The new global economy–the new train of the entire global community–came to a screeching at the station a year or so ago. We didn’t jump on it because we were waiting for the “Free Trade Zone” train.
Friends, Information Technology is the future trend of global economics. The future is right here and now. Thanks to the House Leadership for taking the lead to ensure that the legal infrastructure is established so we don’t spend the next quarter of the new millennium playing “Catch-Up”.
Information Technology will definitely change the conduct of business in nearby Asia, Japan, Australia, European countries, the US of A, and right here in paradise. Nothing will ever be the same again. Imagine the boundless benefits we will have secured for ourselves if we successfully see competition established in these isles among IT providers.
That IT is the way of the future, let’s quietly leave our new found toy in what’s known as the Free Trade Zone. There are too many powerful economies with FTZs we can’t even compete with in any form or fashion. Let’s stick to focusing on the establishment of IT. The future is here. Let’s do it right!

How interesting to see mainstream political parties begin preparation for the long journey to Gubernatorial Election Year 2001. The GOP has seen two prospects, the Reform has yet to field an official candidate, the Democrats have started fundraising to defray the cost of this eventuality.
Perhaps the most interesting arena is in the GOP’s. We’ll see a tango of giants and mini-giants go for the jugular of standard bearer. Some will see their lifetime dreams fizzle out completely. Only one will emerge the victor. Whoever it may be, tighten your seat belt, the rest of the flight ahead would be more than just turbulent. Wind velocity will be so powerful, it’ll be difficult determining strength and destination. We shall see….
The democrats must contend with small leaks in its canoe. The Reform has gaping holes to plug. If persistent tango isn’t resolved, both will find itself eating water melon peels right down to rock bottom ’til it sinks in oblivion. Opportunity knocks not twice, but once and a meeting of the minds is imperative to get from A-B.

Student B offered: “Me too, I wanna be guvvana”.
Said student C: “I really wanna be guvvana”.
Replied student D: “Me too, I wanna be guvvana when everybody else is finished”.
Student F offered: “I wanna be like you, noosepeppa` man, so I can write about all these suckers”. A` Saina!

A storm was approaching and it was time to begin taking construction materials into the warehouse for storage. The foreman gave the orders. The crew grabbed materials by the bundle hauling them as fast they can.
Da boss noticed that Juanito was hauling one two-by-four each trip. Pissed, he asked him why one two-by-four at a time? Said Juanito: “Boss, da guys are very lazy to walk”.
