The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture will be holding the 19th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival on June 2-4, 2000 at the American Memorial Park along the pathway west of the Belltower.

The festival traditionally includes booths for traditional crafts and contemporary arts display, sales and demonstrations, food and snack vendors and community organization and information groups. In addition, traditional and contemporary music and performances will highlight the festival.

Registration will begin on Monday, April 3rd, and is now open for all interested participants. Registration fees will be assessed depending on the location of the booth and will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Registration forms are now available and a map of the site that includes all tent locations is posted at the Arts Council Office in Capitol Hill.

The Marianas Visitors Authority is this year’s major sponsor and all interested private companies who wish to co-sponsor the festival are encouraged to call the Arts Council Office.

For further information, please call Cindy Macaranas or the Arts Council Office at 322-9982 or 322-9983.
