Jonathan Joseph Pangelinan Cabrera, a consistent honor student and respected youth role model from Grace Christian Academy is out to astonish the community with his theatrical skills once again.

Jonathan’s debut as an actor was in 1996 when he played Joseph in the musical “Joseph the Dreamer.” He then played David and Peter in “First Name,” a GCA musical in 1998.

For this year’s GCA High School production, Jonathan plays the 60-year-old tycoon who is a modern day Job. He will not only metamorphose into an old man but he is also bound to wow his audience with his comic antics. This year’s play is entitled “Ai Adai,” a rib-tickling comedy adapted from a play penned by Neil Simon.

The play will also feature GCA’s Junior and Senior High Speech and Drama classes and GCA’s High School Choir. It will be staged on April 28 and 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the GCA Auditorium in Navy Hill. Proceeds of the play will go to the construction of GCA library and cafeteria.
