Was it suicide or foul play?
Police are investigating the death of Korean tourist Bak Il Yoo, 39, who was found dead near the cafeteria of the Northern Marianas College with a cable wire around his neck at around 7:00 a.m. yesterday.

Mr. Bak is staying at Riviera Hotel located in Finasisu, several meters away from where he was found dead. He arrived on the island last June 15 and was scheduled to leave today.
According to a police report, a staff at NMC called up the Department of Public Safety at around 7:14 a.m. informing them that a body was found west of the snack bar of the college campus.

The police found the victim in a sitting position with a cable wire around his neck. The wire was apparently tied to a roof frame.
