KRNM is inviting the public to attend their Open House anytime between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2000. This event will allow listeners, supporters, sponsors, and anyone who is interested in the station to tour the facility located on the campus of NMC.

KRNM is a public, non-commercial radio station that can be heard at both 88.1 and 89.1 on the FM dial. The bulk of their programming consists of show that are sent to them via satellite from National Public Radio and Public Radio International.

The station’s diverse schedule includes jazz and classical programs (including piano jazz, classical guitar alive, and performance today), news and entertaining features (including Morning Edition, All things Considered, and Car Talk), as well as shows that are locally produced and hosted by volunteers (such as Saipan Radio Theater and the Novel Hour, featuring drama instructor Harold Easton and his students, as well as members from the Friends of the Arts).

Appetizers and refreshments will be provided by Culture Cafe.

KRNM is located at the western end of Building N, at the base of the tower.
