Seminar on legislative issues on disabilities

The Governor’s Developmental Disabilities Council would like to invite interested individuals and agencies to participate in a seminar on “Legislative Issues Regarding Disabilities” to be conducted on Thursday, October 12, 2000 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m..

The seminar will be conducted by Ms. Celane McWhorter, Director of Public Policy of the Association for Persons in Supported Employment located in Alexandria, Virginia. The purpose of this effort is to increase the collaboration between and knowledge of service providers to better serve, support, assist or advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities.

While this seminar is free and open to the public, we recommend that you secure your seat for this training opportunity, so please register with the GDDC office in Capitol Hill at 664-7000.
