Biathlon held for kids

The Saipan Swim Club and the NMI Triathlon Federation organized a Biathlon this weekend under the direction of visiting Australian coach Scott Penny.

Mr. Scott gave a lecture on cross training and did a practice run. The coaches believe that combining swimming and running helps in the training of the two sports. The swim course was held in the pool and the run on the main Marpi road.

The training was successfully held due to contributions from Marianas Resort Hotel, DFS, Barny’s Pizza, The Water Company, The Big Dipper and Coach Penny for the prizes.
