The Commonwealth Youth Soccer Organization will be taking registrations this Saturday, Oct. 14 for its fall season. Children from all over the island, ages 6 to 15, will have the opportunity to participate in an organized soccer program from Oct. 17 through Dec. 16.

Volunteer coaches from the adult leagues on the island will supervise and train interested kids at the Ada Gym Field from 4:30 to 6 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays with games to be scheduled on selected Saturdays.

Registration will be conducted at the Ada Gym Field, at the north end of the gym, from 1 pm to 4 pm on Oct. 14. This is the second week of registration. Any interested children who missed last week’s registration can sign up and take the necessary physical at the same time. The registration fee of $15 per child covers the equipment and other expenses of the program.

The youth soccer program is open to children from all schools. Sign up for two months of enjoyment of the world’s most popular sport. Parent volunteers and coaches are also urgently needed and should register on Saturday.

Players and parents can also enjoy the final game of this Fall’s Public/Private School League as Mount Carmel “A” and “B” teams vie against each other for the first place position.
