Youth Congress inauguration on Saturday

Newly-elected 3rd CNMI Youth Congress senators will take their oath of office on Saturday, Oct. 28, starting with the inauguration mass at 8:00 a.m. at the Kristo Rai Church, Garapan.
The official swearing in ceremony will follow at the CNMI Legislature in the Mafnas Memorial Building in Capitol Hill at 10:00 a.m.
Twenty-two youth leaders elected during the Sept. 18 3rd CNMI Youth Congress polls will officially assume positions as youth representatives of their respective schools and precincts.
Incumbent Youth Congress Speaker Angel Demapan, incumbent youth senator Luis Dlg. Guerrero, and Manuel Tenorio Jr. for precinct no. 1; incumbent youth floor leader Ramona Concepcion for precinct no. 2, Eulalia S. Villagomez, incumbent youth senator Joaquina B. Salas, and Caroline Christine P. Fitial for precinct no. 3; Dane Palacios for precinct no. 4; Jovon Charfauros for precinct no. 5, and Maryanna Mendiola for precinct no. 6 are expected to take the oath of office this Saturday.
Incoming youth senators for the school level also include Pedro Kakuse of Calvary Christian Academy, incumbent youth senator Joshua Blalock of Grace Christian Academy, Aileen Ada of Marianas Baptist Academy, Keoni Dlg. Ichihara and Alisa Ann Torres of Marianas High School, Colleen Macduff of Mount Carmel High School, incumbent youth senator Frances Somorang of Northern Marianas Academy, Margaret Ashlee Tenorio, Absinthe Algaier, and Carmen Sablan of Northern Marianas College, Jeannette Sablan of Tinian High School, and Tanya M. Taisacan of Rota High school.
The new set of leadership are also set to elect the Youth Speaker, Vice Speaker, and Floor leader during the weekend affair. (MM)
