Hyatt Classic golf tournament in Dec.

It’s that time of year again, so get those clubs out. The 5th Annual Club at the Hyatt Classic will be held on Dec. 2, 2000 at Coral Ocean Point Resort.
The tournament format is a double Peoria four-person scramble. This style of tournament is fun for all types of skill levels, as you will be playing as a team, working together. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., while registration will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
“We are looking forward to a fantastic day of golf, delightful food, and great prizes,: said Recreation manager Jeff Callahan. “We have interesting hole in one prizes, long drive prizes, team prizes, and more. This is an event we do once a year and we intend to make it a true highlight annually.”
“Our format allows people of all abilities to play together as a team, this is truly a tournament that everyone will enjoy,” continued Callahan.
Golf traffic reports will be provided on air by 97.9 The Rock and MVC will be covering the event and televising the highlights.
Callahan also said, “The local business community has been extremely supportive, while donating close to $20,000 in cash and prizes.”
After the fun and excitement ends on the course, a banquet following the tournament will be held at the Hyatt Regency’s new poolside facility and will feature a sumptuous gourmet buffet.
The fee for the tournament is $85 for Club at the Hyatt members and $100 for guests. This tournament is limited to 100 entries, so don’t walk but run down to the Hyatt and sign up now. Golfers may sign up at the Club Elan Fitness Centre inside the Hyatt Regency.
