DPS Thanksgiving checkpoint in Rota

The Department of Public Safety in Rota will be conducting two types of checkpoints during the Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24th and 25th.

The first, a Sobriety Checkpoint, on Friday and Saturday at the following place and time:

• Nov. 24th- 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.- San Francisco Highway, Tatachog, between Veteran’s Memorial park and the intersection to Tatachog dump site.

• Nov. 24th- 9:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.- San Francisco Highway, Teteto, from the northern end of the pavilion to the southern end of Teteto Beach.

Nov. 24th- 11:30 p.m. to Nov. 25th 12:45 a.m.- San Francisco Highway, Sinapalo 3, from the southern intersection of Sinapalo 2 to Igua area.

The second, the Occupancy Protection and Child Restraint Checkpoint, will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 25th, 2000 at the following locations and time:

• San Francisco Highway, by Tete’to Beach Park, 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., and

• San Francisco Highway, by Sinapalo III, 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
