Managaha staff returns lost wallet
Following the footsteps of local hero Galileo Torwal who lost his life after rescuing two Japanese tourists last month, another B-Sea Transport employee was commended by a tourist.
Romeo Lanuza acknowledged the assistance provided by Managaha security staff and B-Sea Transport who returned a lost wallet of his relatives from Las Vegas, California.
Mr. Lanuza said on February 4, his family along with his in-laws from California visited famous sites on the island including the Managaha Island, Banzai Cliff, the Last Command Post, and the Grotto.
Upon their return from Managaha Island, his father-in-law noted that his billfold was missing. After informing B-Sea Transport of his father-in-law’s ordeal, Mr. Lanuza was informed that staff of the company recovered the item.
“Not only the billfold was returned, everything inside including several hundred dollars,” said Mr. Lanuza.
He said the security staff of Managaha declined to accept a reward adding that returning loss items are part of their orientation and their job.
The visitors were impressed on how the staff responded quickly to his father-in-law’s problem and the assistance provided to visitors.
