NMI’s biggest weekend party at Tinian Dynasty

Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino is cooking up the biggest Irish weekend party in the Northern Marianas on March 16-17, in celebration of the St. Patrick’s Day.
The party kicks-off with its two-day $13,000 Seven-Card Stud Poker Championship on March 16. For a $300-entry fee, which includes hotel accommodation for two nights, any poker player can grab the chance to win the pot o’ gold worth $10,000.
On March 17, a $10,000 prize is at stake for the Poker Championship. The Luck O’ Irish Party will follow at 9pm. Join and have fun together with the luckiest among the lucky lads and lasses at the buffet and open cocktail bar with unlimited cold green beer at the main Casino floor.
To continue with the party atmosphere, Tinian Dynasty and Budweiser are hosting the Larry Franquez Jazz Ensemble from Guam performing live at the Jackpot Lounge.
The Ensemble is a high-energy professional band that plays favorite jazz ballads, swing, up-tempo, blues, Latin songs and numbers to for audiences listening and dancing pleasure. The group is composed of Larry Franquez on drums, pianist Patrick Palomo, bassist Carlos Laguana, alto saxist Mike DiAmore, guitarist and vocalist Donovan Brooks and Cindy Manglona on vocals.
Mr. Franquez has consistently earned prestigious awards in New York, Boston, New Orleans, San Diego, and Toronto. He is a successful music performer and a music educator as well. He has recorded on several CD demos and played drums on the soundtrack for the ‘Skirty Winner’ under an independent film label.
Also, he is the first Band Director in Guam history to enter the John F. Kennedy High School Jazz Band into national and international band competitions. Concert tickets are $10 and it comes with a free drink. It starts at 9:30pm and goes all the way to 2am.
