PacifiCare sponsors Red Cross’ Walkathon

For a number of years, PacifiCare Asia Pacific has joined the Red Cross Walkathon as a Major Sponsor. This year the Red Cross announces PacifiCare as the Event’s Premier Sponsor of the 15th Annual Walkathon.

“We are extremely proud of our ongoing relationship with PacifiCare, and their consist-and now elevated-commitment to the humanitarian work of the Red Cross”, said Executive Director, Nicole Michael.

Due to conflicting community activities, the Red Cross has opted to change the date of the Walkathon from April 21 to April 28. According to Walkathon Committee Chair Dora Borja, the committee has decided to reincorporate last years Carnival theme into this year’s event, “we want the Walkathon to be fun for family and friends as well as financially successful for the NMI Chapter of the Red Cross”.
