Flame Tree Arts Fest holds street parade

The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture will sponsor a street parade to highlight the 20th anniversary of the Flame Tree Arts Festival.

The parade will include off-island delegates participating in this year’s festival. This year, the festival will include artists from the Republic of Marshall Islands, Guam, Republic of Palau, Nauru, Tinian and Rota.

The CCAC is soliciting the participation of the community in this parade. Cash prizes will be awarded in the following categories: private corporation, non-profit organization, school/educational institution, and private associations.

Registration is free and application forms are now available at the Arts Council office in Capitol Hill. Deadline for registration is April 18 at 4:30pm. For more information please contact Tina K.W. Foster or Sinfo C. Pinaula at 322-9982/83.
